Earlsboro police arrest alleged child predator following sting operation
Police say other law enforcement agencies have contacted the Earlsboro Police Department regarding other investigations involving the suspect

The group showed evidence that a 60-year-old man was having sexual communication online with a person he thought was a 14-year-old girl. The suspect, however, was speaking with a 31-year-old decoy with Oklahoma Predator Prevention, according to Earlsboro Assistant Police Chief Jeremiah Chaney. During the investigation, police learned that the suspect was in Missouri and started tracking his location. They also set up a surveillance operation with an undercover investigator using the suspect’s business partner’s phone. Chaney said the suspect believed he was texting his business partner as he was returning to Oklahoma. “In fact, he was actually texting the Earlsboro Police Department, and he basically texted his location all the way to our handcuffs,” said Chaney. >> Get the latest news stories of interest by clicking here.Earlsboro police executed two felony search warrants at the suspect’s home when he came back from Missouri and arrested him.”We will not tolerate victimizing our children. And if you come to mess with our children in this town, EPD will take you down,” Chaney said. Chaney told KOCO 5 that other law enforcement agencies have contacted the Earlsboro Police Department regarding other investigations involving the suspect. The suspect was arrested following the investigation and in connection with a similar incident from 2024. KOCO 5 has not released the suspect’s name because formal charges have not been filed.
