EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) – An Evansville man accused of drugging and molesting a child has been sentenced.
Court records show a trial was supposed to start Monday for 57-year-old Randall Ryan. However, he reached a plea deal in the case last week.
Records show Ryan pleaded guilty to two of his five charges – child exploitation and child molesting.
Three other charges of child molesting were dismissed, and he was sentenced to 24 years in prison.
Ryan was arrested in 2024.
Police believe he would give his victim Ambien before her abuse.
