Jazz has made its data loss prevention platform available on CrowdStrike Falcon Foundry, bringing its agentic investigator, Melody, directly into the Falcon console.
Unveiled at Fal.Con 2026, the new app allows CrowdStrike customers to apply Jazz’s investigation technology to data protection signals already available through Falcon. Melody analyzes those signals and returns pre-investigated findings with supporting context and evidence, without requiring customers to deploy another endpoint agent for the integration.
The integration is aimed at one of the persistent challenges facing enterprise DLP programs: distinguishing between data movement that is part of legitimate business activity and activity that creates genuine risk.
Jazz approaches that problem by examining four dimensions around a data flow: Data, Systems, People and Business. Melody considers what information moved, where it moved, who was involved and the business process surrounding the activity before determining its significance.
That differs from traditional DLP approaches that typically use rules, patterns and content matches to identify potentially sensitive activity, leaving analysts to investigate the surrounding circumstances. Jazz argues that the human side of that model becomes increasingly difficult to scale as data moves across endpoints, SaaS applications, browsers, cloud services and generative AI tools.
With the Foundry app, those investigations can now take place within the CrowdStrike environment. Melody adds business context to Falcon’s existing security context and returns its findings to the workflow analysts already use.
“Melody adds business context to the rich security context we already have in Falcon, giving our analysts a more complete picture of data risk,” said Ramon Espinosa Jr., information security engineer at Cooper Machinery Services. “Having both in one console means they can focus on decisions instead of manual, time-consuming investigations.”
The launch marks another step in Jazz’s relationship with CrowdStrike. Jazz was previously named the winner of the 2026 CrowdStrike, AWS and NVIDIA Cybersecurity Startup Accelerator, after being selected from nearly 1,000 startups.
Daniel Bernard, chief business officer at CrowdStrike, said the move from the accelerator program to building on Falcon Foundry within the same year was representative of what the program was designed to support.
“Melody brings Jazz’s business context to data protection investigations, putting that innovation to work directly in the Falcon platform where analysts are already working,” Bernard said.
The integration arrives as enterprises contend with increasingly complex data movement, particularly as employees adopt generative AI applications and AI agents. Jazz’s position is that AI has amplified an existing weakness in DLP rather than created a new one: traditional systems can identify that data moved but often lack enough context to explain why it moved and whether the activity is appropriate.
Jazz also sees AI as part of the solution. Melody is designed to perform more of the reasoning that historically fell to human investigators, using business context to understand why activity is occurring rather than simply applying AI to existing rules, classification or context-poor workflows.

The Jazz app for Falcon is available now through the CrowdStrike Marketplace. Jazz is also demonstrating the integration at Booth 2009 during Fal.Con 2026.
