Back-to-School Safety: FHP Orlando shares tips for drivers, students and families
ORLANDO, Fla. —
With all Central Florida school districts back in session, drivers, students and families are being reminded to make safety a top priority on the roads.
Florida Highway Patrol Troop D came to WESH 2 to talk about school safety during the first week of the new school year. Trooper Migdalisis Garcia shared important reminders for drivers, students walking or biking to school, teen drivers and anyone traveling near school buses.
From slowing down in school zones to following traffic laws on e-bikes and e-scooters, these safety tips can help keep everyone safe.
