NOBLESVILLE, Ind. (WISH) — The Noblesville Police Department arrested four people Thursday for child sex crimes. These arrests were made as part of an undercover operation.
Monday through Thursday, detectives posed as minors living in Noblesville between the ages of 13 and 15, according to a press release by the Noblesville Police Department. This was a “targeted online predator investigation” the release says.
The investigation led to four arrests Thursday after officers say all four tried to meet and have sex with people who they thought were minors.
Those arrested were Jamal Courtney, 44, from Fishers; Jun Jie Piao, 38, from Chicago; Jordan Stites, 38, from Kokomo; and Matthew burton, 33, from Greenfield.
All four are in the custody of the Hamilton County Jail for child sex crimes. Among other charges, Courtney, Stites and Burton are facing charges of Attempted Sexual Misconduct with a Minor.
