France was set to become the first country in Europe to block access to social media for everyone under the age of 15, effective Sep. 1. Following a veto by the Constitutional Council, the law must now be revised. German education minister Karin Prien intends to wait for the draft proposal from the European Commission, which is scheduled to be released this fall.
