Fraud is constantly evolving, and staying informed is one of the most powerful ways to stay protected.
My Glacier Village invites the community to attend the fifth annual Senior Fraud Summit on Saturday, April 11 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. in the Flathead Valley Community College Arts & Technology Building.
This free educational event will feature expert speakers from the Montana Commissioner of Securities and Insurance. Together, they will provide the latest updates on emerging scams, warning signs to watch for, and clear steps to take if you or a loved one is targeted.
“Fraud affects everyone,” said Jenn Prunty, Founder of My Glacier Village. “Scammers are becoming more sophisticated every year. We believe education and awareness are key to protecting not just seniors, but entire families.”
While the summit focuses on older adults, seniors are encouraged to bring family members, neighbors, and friends. Intergenerational awareness strengthens protection and helps families have proactive conversations before a crisis occurs.
Attendees will learn how scams are evolving, the newest tactics criminals are using, how to recognize red flags, and what to do immediately if someone suspects fraud.
Coffee and pastries will be served.
