As the risk of falling for scams rises, free online safety training will be offered to 400 seniors at the Oak Ridge Senior Center in July and August.
Two duplicate workshops will take place from 1 to 3 p.m. on Monday, July 20, and Monday, Aug. 3, in the Oak Ridge Senior Center, 1405 Oak Ridge Turnpike. The online safety workshops are open to those 50 years or older, but spaces must be reserved because seating is limited. To register, call (865) 425-3999. You do not have to be an Oak Ridge resident.
