Scammers are continually finding new ways to target older adults. Gateway Bank is hosting a free presentation at 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 12, at the Cleveland County Library in Rison to help attendees recognize common fraud schemes, protect their personal and financial information, and learn practical steps to avoid becoming a victim. Participants will leave with valuable tools and resources to help keep themselves and their loved ones safe from financial exploitation.
