Gemspring Capital portfolio company TRG has acquired Westerville, Ohio-based cybersecurity and advisory firm Fentron, for undisclosed terms. The Fentron team will join Inversion6, TRG’s dedicated cybersecurity division.
The deal adds complementary capabilities and senior engineering talent to TRG’s integrated cybersecurity offering across the enterprise endpoint lifecycle.
Fentron specializes in enterprise security architecture, incident handling and CISO advisory services. Its capabilities also include ransomware readiness, vulnerability management, incident response preparedness, tabletop exercises and SIEM integration. It serves clients in the financial, manufacturing, government and healthcare sectors.
TRG, which acquired Fentron for undisclosed terms, is a Cleveland-headquartered global managed services provider that manages and secures enterprise endpoints across their full lifecycle. Its services span procurement, configuration, deployment, depot repair, asset management and cybersecurity, and it has facilities in North America, Europe and Latin America.
