A Georgia man was arrested in Homewood Friday during a police operation targeting a suspected child predator, authorities said.Investigators conducted the operation in the Edgewood area where they arrested Chase Andrew Womble, 41, of Sharpsburg, Georgia.Womble is charged with rape, sodomy and traveling to meet a child for an unlawful sex act. Investigators conducted the operation in the Edgewood area where they arrested Chase Andrew Womble, 41, of Sharpsburg, Georgia.
