The Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce an upcoming session it its new Skill Up! Series, an educational program designed to support business growth and professional development within the Greater Rochester business community. The Skill Up! Series features sessions led by local business experts, providing insights into practical and timely topics relevant to today’s professionals.
The upcoming session, “Cybersecurity: Why It’s Important & Why You Need It!” will take place on Wednesday, June 17th, from 8:00-9:30AM at 18 South Main Street in downtown Rochester, NH. In this Skill Up! session, Shane Pouliot of 603 Technology Solutions will review why small business owners need a strong cybersecurity posture in today’s digital world, learn what can happen when businesses are unprepared for cyber threats, what a good cybersecurity posture looks like, and the importance of Cyber Insurance and why simply having a policy may not be enough.
Community members are encouraged to attend Skill Up! sessions to gain valuable business knowledge, learn new skills, and connect with other local professionals. Attendance is free for Chamber members and $15 for non-members. Sessions offer a welcoming environment for learning, discussion, and networking across a variety of relevant business topics.
Hosting opportunities are available to both Chamber members and non-members. Hosting a session will provide businesses with a unique opportunity to showcase their expertise, increase visibility, and connect directly with local professionals.
