Gritman Medical Center systems are coming back online following a cybersecurity incident and outage this week that forced the temporary closure of several clinics and offices across the organization. Early investigations show that no patient or secure data was compromised.
The Gritman hospital and Emergency Department remained open throughout the outage. Gritman QuickCARE reopened Friday with normal operations and will remain open Saturday, but will be closed Sunday in observance of Easter. Normal clinic operations are expected to resume on Monday, April 6.
An outside forensic investigation is currently underway to determine the full scope of the incident. According to Gritman, all preliminary findings indicate that no access was successfully made to any electronic system.
Patients wishing to reschedule appointments can call their preferred clinic during regular hours. A full list of contact numbers is available at gritman.org/contact. Those experiencing a medical emergency should call 911 or go directly to the Gritman Emergency Department.
