Gypsy Rose Blanchard is making a move to end cyberbullying after the death of her partner Ken Urker.
“I only have my daughter and my voice. ❤️🩹 In honor of Ken, I am asking for your support for Kenan’s Law,” Blanchard, 35, shared via Instagram on Sunday, October 4.
The following day, Blanchard — who shared daughter Aurora, 21 months, with Urker — posted a series of screenshots that appeared to show “evidence” that Urker was the victim of online bullying.
“What you’re seeing here isn’t even a fraction of it,” she wrote. “These screenshots show only a small portion of an evidence log documenting the cyberbullying, ridicule, allegations, and targeted harassment Ken faced across social media over the years. There is substantially more that has yet to be documented.”
She added, “Behind the screen was a real person. A father and partner. Someone who was loved.”
Urker was found dead inside his Louisiana home on Thursday, October 1 – his 34th birthday. According to investigators, paraphernalia including syringes, a powdery substance and a handgun were found inside the home.
Shortly after news of his death broke, Blanchard claimed he “wasn’t in a good state of mind lately.”
While the investigation is ongoing, the Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office found “no evidence of foul play.”
