WANA (Mar 27) – The hacking group Handala has announced a major breach targeting Kash Patel, the current Director of the FBI. In a sharply worded statement, the group mocked U.S. intelligence capabilities, framing the attack as a direct retaliation for recent American legal actions against them.
“Collapse of the American Security Myth”
In their official statement, Handala declared that the world has once again witnessed the shattering of “American security myths.”
The move comes shortly after the FBI seized the group’s domains and announced a $10 million bounty for information leading to the arrest of its members.
“We decided to respond to this ridiculous show in a way that will be remembered forever,” the statement read.
“Kash Patel, whose name was once proudly displayed at the organization’s headquarters, will now find his name on the list of successfully hacked individuals.”
Claims of Total System Compromise
The group asserts that the FBI’s so-called “impenetrable” systems were brought to their knees within hours.
Handala claims to have leaked a comprehensive trove of Patel’s sensitive data, including:
- Personal and confidential emails
- Official correspondence and documents
- Classified files
The group’s statement issued a direct challenge to U.S. cyber authority: “Is this the security the U.S. government prides itself on? Is this the cyber giant that thinks it can silence the voice of resistance through threats and bribes? The FBI is just a name; behind it, there is no real security.”
The operation was dedicated by the group to the “Martyrs of the Destroyer Dena.”
U.S. Department of Justice Confirms the Attack
In an admission, a U.S. Department of Justice official confirmed to Reuters that FBI Director Kash Patel’s emails were indeed targeted.
