Parts of the digital network at Hannaford Supermarkets have gone dark.
Hannaford’s parent company, Ahold Delhaize, announced it intentionally took critical systems offline Tuesday following a network security incident.
The network security incident is affecting some of their services, including their website, mobile app and Hannaford To Go pickup and delivery service.

“As part of our response, we are working with relevant internal teams and external cybersecurity experts. We are engaging with the appropriate authorities and other stakeholders as necessary. As the investigation is ongoing, we are not sharing further details that could compromise security measures or interfere with our response efforts. Although our investigation is still ongoing, we have no evidence at this moment that customer and associate data was taken in this cybersecurity incident,” Ahold Delhaize said in a statement.
The infrastructure breach follows previous major cyberattacks on the grocery giant in 2024 and 2008.
Local Hannaford stores remain open for shoppers.
