Southern Illinois University Carbondale will host SouthernTECH 2026 later this month.
It’s a free hybrid event offering businesses and university researchers practical guidance on government contracting, cybersecurity compliance and innovation funding.
National experts will cover AI‑driven government sales strategies, cybersecurity requirements and pathways for turning research into funded projects. In‑person attendees can also network during a working lunch.
The program runs 8:30 to 2:30 at the Gower Translational Research Center and online.
Registration is free but required for the April 29 event, and space is limited for on‑site participation.
