Blumberg Capital’s Pramod Gosavi on Where AI Security Startups Can Win
Large language models are generating cleaner code by default and automating log analysis at a scale that no human analyst can match, reshaping how security teams approach application security and SOC operations.

“If you feed those patterns to an LLM, you can pretty much take off for the rest of the day and let the LLMs do the work for you,” said Pramod Gosavi, senior principal at Blumberg Capital.
Oportunities for artificial intelligence security startups lies in addressing what LLMs lack: context, Gosavi said. Startups that build context graphs and asset inventories to supply that intelligence can deliver security value that foundation models can’t provide on their own.
In this video interview with Information Security Media Group at RSAC Conference 2026, Gosavi also discussed:
- Why the next wave of AI security innovation will focus on agentic AI embedded within SaaS applications;
- How fragmentation in traditional security tools created inefficiencies that LLMs are now beginning to reduce;
- Why no single platform can dominate AI security today and what conditions must exist before one can.
Gosavi focuses on early-stage investments in cybersecurity, data infrastructure, developer tools and AI. He previously held venture and corporate strategy roles at VMware and 11.2 Capital, supporting investments in companies including JFrog, Armis, Guardicore and CloudEndure.
