NASHVILLE, N.C. (WBTV) – Officers posing as underage children online arrested 16 men in North Carolina during a four-day undercover operation.

The operation, titled “Operation Cursed Cupid,” happened in February in Nashville, North Carolina. It was based in Nash County but included agencies across the state and country, like the Huntersville Police Department and U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Division. More than 150 officers from 13 organizations worked together.

The suspects ranged in age from 19 to 87 with charges including solicitation of child by computer, sexual battery familial or custodial/lewd and lascivious molestation, and carrying concealed weapon, among several others.

Listed below are the men arrested, as well as their charges.

Daniel Mabe, 43

  • Second-degree sexual exploitation of minor

Dawson Matthew Memmel, 21

  • Solicitation of child by computer
  • Dissemination of obscenity to minor
  • Attempt first-degree sexual exploitation of minor

Dennis Paul Corbett, 87

  • Solicitation of child by computer, two counts

Jairo Flores, 27

  • Second-degree sexual exploitation of minor, 10 counts

James Onofrio, 61

  • Second-degree sexual exploitation of minor
  • Third-degree sexual exploitation of minor, 10 counts
  • Carrying concealed gun
  • Resisting public officer
