REDDING, Calif. – ICE arrested a convicted child predator in Redding who was in the U.S. illegally.
Immigration and Customs Enforcement said Kao Wang Saechao had been convicted of sexually abusing a child under 14 years old in Redding. He also has a DUI conviction in Sacramento.
Saechao is from Laos. An immigration judge ordered him to be removed from the country in 2005.
Last month, ICE tracked him down in Redding and arrested him.
