inforcer has secured $50m in a Series C round headed by global software investor Insight Partners.
Insight Partners has taken a minority position in the business, joining existing backers Meritech Capital and Dawn Capital. The investor brings extensive experience from its portfolio across cloud, security and infrastructure, which features Kaseya, Veeam, SentinelOne, Darktrace, Mimecast and Wiz.
The raise caps a remarkable pace of fundraising, with inforcer closing its Series A, B and C rounds within an 18-month window.
The company’s growth over the past two years has been fuelled by MSPs seeking to standardise, protect and monetise Microsoft 365 and AI services at scale.
With small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) increasingly relying on their MSPs for security, compliance and AI-focused services, demand for a scalable, multi-tenant control plane has intensified, a gap inforcer aims to fill.
The funding arrives as AI reshapes the threat landscape. According to inforcer, AI is lowering the skill threshold for cybercrime, compressing attack timelines and enabling far more convincing phishing and business email compromise campaigns.
Once inside a compromised account, attackers can use AI to map a tenant, pinpoint valuable data and identify key individuals at speeds no human could match.
At the same time, SMB spending on AI and security is rising, pushing MSPs to evolve into AI service providers. Products such as Copilot Manager and Shadow AI detection give MSPs a route into delivering repeatable Managed AI services at scale.
inforcer has also broadened its platform with Threat Detection & Response (inforcer TDR), built to help MSPs quickly spot human and AI-enhanced threats, contain breaches and stop attacks recurring across large SMB estates.
The firm describes itself as the first platform to bring together Microsoft management with security both left and right of boom, allowing MSPs to consolidate on Microsoft technologies, build AI service offerings and improve their unit economics.
