The girl was actually an undercover police officer and Cox was arrested when he arrived and Cox admitted to planning to meet who he believed was a 15-year-old girl for sex.Cox eventually pled guilty to prostitution but received a deferred judgment, meaning he was effectively released on probation for two years and the charges would be expunged from his record if he stayed out of trouble in that time.Copyright 2026 KCRG.
