Trustees at Kaskaskia College have approved two key contract renewals supporting student services and cybersecurity.
The board renewed its agreement for the AwardSpring Scholarship Management Platform for three years at a cost not to exceed just over $30,000. The platform helps streamline scholarship applications and awards for students.
In addition, trustees approved a one-year renewal of ThreatDown anti-virus software at a cost not to exceed $37,118. Officials say the software is critical to protecting the college’s technology infrastructure and sensitive data.
