Korea launches new cybersecurity fund targeting AI and zero trust firms
South Korea’s ministry of science and ICT has announced a new public-private cyber security investment fund for 2026, aimed at supporting domestic firms developing advanced security technologies and expanding overseas. The ministry said it will select a fund manager by 6 May to operate a new KRW 16 billion fund, backed by KRW 8 billion in government capital and matched by private investment.
