HOLLISTER, Calif. —
It was announced Thursday that the Hollister High School varsity football head coach has been placed on paid administrative leave.
The San Benito High School District announced that head varsity football coach Thomas Sullivan was placed on leave while the district “conducts an investigation related to the football program.”
The district did not clarify what the investigation entails.
KSBW 8 has reached out for more information about the investigation.
Longtime football coach Chris Cameron has been named interim varsity head coach.
“Because the investigation is ongoing, the district is unable to provide additional details at this time,” Hollister High School said in a social media post.
