A man is behind bars after Plymouth Police received a tip from a child predator exposure group.
Reports say 42-year-old Larry Charlton was trying to meet up with a juvenile he met on Grindr. The Plymouth Police Department says they received a call around 1:50 a.m. on May 6 when they responded to the area of Michigan Street for reports of a male trying to meet up with a juvenile.
Police pulled over a car matching the description of Charlton’s. They also saw another vehicle with a man standing next to it.
The man was with the Big Country Predator Exposure group.
He told authorities he was posing as a 13-year-old boy on Grindr where he had been talking to Charlton and had arranged to meet with him for sexual contact.
Police arrested Charlton after seeing the conversation between him and the fictional 13-year-old. He’s charged with felony Child Seduction.
