AI and cloud company MegazoneCloud said on March 26 it signed an official partnership on strategic cooperation with global cybersecurity firm Check Point Software to target AI-native and cloud security markets.
The two companies agreed to pursue measures including providing AI LLM model guardrails and AI red team application security consulting, deployment and operations services based on Check Point Software’s Lakera platform; building a continuous threat exposure management (CTEM) system across cloud infrastructure; and offering tailored security architecture design and 24/7 monitoring services.
Check Point Software’s Lakera immediately detects and responds to real-time data leaks or malicious inputs, such as prompt injection, that occur during runtime while AI services are running. The companies will also provide an “AI Red Teaming” service to respond to the latest AI security incident trends. It plays a key role in building comprehensive protection across the entire AI business process, from input validation to output filtering and abnormal AI agent behavior.
The two companies plan to provide Lakera-based AI LLM model runtime security consulting, deployment and operations services in the domestic market.
MegazoneCloud will also build a CTEM system by applying Check Point solutions across customers’ complex cloud infrastructure. It plans to identify in real time IT asset vulnerabilities and leaked credential information exposed in AI transformation (AX) and digital transformation (DX) environments, and apply an automated security improvement process.
MegazoneCloud’s HALO unit, which oversees its security business, is running a managed security service provider (MSSP) business based on expertise specialized for cloud and plans to expand into an AI-SOC, an AI-based security operations center. With cooperation with Check Point Software enabling it to offer full-stack security services, MegazoneCloud plans to design tailored security architectures for various domestic companies and provide 24/7 real-time monitoring and intelligent threat response services.
Check Point Software plans to open a booth at MegazoneCloud’s conference “ICON 2026,” to be held on April 2 at the Grand Ballroom of InterContinental Seoul Parnas, and introduce the current state and technological capabilities related to AI and CTEM security to key domestic officials.
Wi Soo-young (위수영), head of the HALO business, said, “By building a cooperative framework with Check Point Software, which has full-stack solutions related to security including AI, we have been able to strengthen HALO’s end-to-end security capabilities.” He added, “By combining Check Point Software’s AI security technology and CTEM solutions with HALO’s professional services, we will provide customers with the most advanced security environment.”
Lim Hyun-ho (임현호), head of Check Point Software Korea, said, “A strategic partnership with MegazoneCloud, which leads the cloud and AI transformation market, will be an important bridgehead for Check Point Software’s security technologies to reach more customers.” He added, “In particular, we will contribute to enhancing the cyber resilience of Korean companies through cooperation with HALO in Lakera-based AI security and CTEM.”
