MegazoneCloud Partners with Portal26 to Strengthen Generative AI Governance and Security in Korea | #hacking | #cybersecurity | #infosec | #comptia | #pentest | #ransomware

MegazoneCloud, a leading AI and cloud company, has partnered with U.S.-based generative AI governance and security provider Portal26 to bring its enterprise AI management platform to the South Korean market. As Portal26’s reseller in Korea, MegazoneCloud will help enterprises gain centralized visibility and control over generative AI usage, security risks, and associated costs.

The companies signed a strategic reseller partnership agreement on September 28 to introduce Portal26’s AI Adoption Management Platform to Korean customers, providing enterprises with a unified approach to managing generative AI adoption.

Under the agreement, MegazoneCloud will deliver technical support for the AI Adoption Management Platform and develop generative AI security and governance services tailored to individual customer environments. Portal26 will supply the platform and its technical expertise, working with MegazoneCloud to enhance technical support and services in response to the requirements of Korean enterprises. Both companies will also pursue joint sales and marketing initiatives under a shared go-to-market strategy.

Headquartered in California, Portal26 focuses on generative AI governance and security. Its flagship AI Adoption Management Platform enables enterprises to identify, analyze, and control generative AI usage in real time across internal development environments, employee-accessed web-based AI services, and unauthorized “shadow AI.” The platform provides visibility and enforcement capabilities at both the network and browser levels. Its prompt-level data loss prevention capabilities can detect, mask, and block sensitive information before it is entered into AI tools. In addition, the platform maintains AI usage records as audit trails to support security audits and incident investigations.

The platform also enables organizations to monitor token consumption and manage AI-related costs across individual AI agents, departments, and teams. These capabilities help enterprises limit excessive usage, avoid unexpected cost increases, and evaluate the effectiveness of AI adoption using actual usage data. With deployment possible in approximately 30 minutes, the platform allows organizations to establish visibility into generative AI usage without a lengthy or complex implementation process.

Drawing on its team of AI and cloud specialists and HALO, its dedicated security organization, MegazoneCloud will assist customers throughout the platform’s lifecycle, from initial implementation through ongoing operations. The company plans to work with customers during the AI service design phase, recommending deployment approaches that integrate cloud, AI, and security requirements. It will also help organizations develop security and governance frameworks aligned with their existing IT environments and specific AI use cases.

These capabilities are designed to help enterprises move beyond simply restricting generative AI adoption toward enabling broader use under appropriate security and governance controls. Key benefits include:

  • Improved visibility into generative AI and shadow AI usage
  • Better management of sensitive information and data security risks
  • Stronger AI compliance and governance
  • Improved management of AI usage and costs

“As generative AI becomes increasingly embedded across business operations, gaining real-time visibility into unauthorized AI usage and managing the risk of sensitive information leakage at the prompt level have emerged as critical new security challenges,” said Doug Yeum, CEO of MegazoneCloud. “By combining Portal26’s enterprise-wide AI visibility and data protection technologies with MegazoneCloud’s AI, cloud, and security capabilities, we will help customers establish governance frameworks that enable them to use generative AI securely.”

Arti Raman, CEO of Portal26, said, “Our partnership with MegazoneCloud will help provide enterprises the tools to successfully address the critical challenges and opportunities faced by AI leaders. By combining MegazoneCloud’s cloud and AI delivery strength with Portal26’s platform for AI visibility and governance, we’re giving enterprise customers a clear, continuous picture of how AI is actually being used across their business, and a path to securely and responsibly turn that visibility into real return.”
