A sexual predator was recently sentenced in a Grundy County court case. Lawrence Raibley, 62, pled guilty to Failing To Register as a Sex Offender, a class three felony and was sentenced to two years of probation.
Raibley failed to register as a sex offender with the Morris Police Department on August 13th of 2024. According to the Illinois Sex Offender Registry, Raibley was sentenced to prison on two counts of Criminal Sexual Assault out of LaSalle County in 2004.
Raibley was 41-years-old and the victim was 16 at the time. Raibley also has other convictions for violating the Illinois Sex Offender Registry.
