ABC 6 News has reached out to the county asking how much that fee was, and if it will be worked into the county budget as well as submitted three separate data requests for the information.
Each of the data requests were answered with one of the following statements:
- “Mower County does not collect, maintain, or possess the requested data.”
- “Given the ongoing criminal nature of the investigation, the County is unable to provide additional details at this time.”
The Board of Commissioners says aggressive measures have been and will continue to be taken to minimize the risk of a similar event happening again in Mower County.
