Naver Cloud, LG chosen for govt-backed cybersecurity AI model project
South Korean internet giant Naver Cloud has been selected to lead a consortium of 33 industry, academic, research and public-sector organisations in a government programme to develop a foundation AI model specialised for cybersecurity. The consortium said it has already begun pre-training the models using 4,000 GPUs ahead of the formal start of the project. Naver Cloud is contributing 4,000 B200 GPUs, while LG is providing a further 256 H200 GPUs, in addition to 256 GPUs supplied by the government.
