The Neal Senior Center provided a learning opportunity over lunch on Tuesday, June 2. The two-part session, entitled Scamboree, began with Nevada Police Lt Amber Williamson speaking to attendees about recent area scams, what to avoid, and how to identify a scam. Kathy Coyan of the First National Bank followed Williamson with information specific to bank fraud. Sheri Spencer, Director of the Neal Center, shared she felt the meeting went well, and said “there were a lot of questions and answers” during discussion time.
