Auckland-based cyber security integrator Nextro has achieved the Fortinet Engage Partner Specialisation for SASE, which the company says validates its expertise in delivering secure access service edge (SASE) solutions.
According to Nextro managing director Martyn Levy, this specialisation means the company is recognised by Fortinet as a partner with the expertise and delivery capability to help customers adopt SASE architectures with confidence, from initial design through to implementation and ongoing support.
The achievement reflects Nextro’s investment in both secure networking and cloud-delivered security, and hands-on experience delivering Fortinet SASE solutions for customers, Levy said.
“Achieving Fortinet’s SASE specialisation is an important milestone for Nextro,” he said.
“It confirms not only our technical capability, but also our experience delivering these solutions in production environments. Our customers are looking for simpler, more effective ways to secure hybrid work and cloud adoption, and Fortinet’s SASE is a key part of that.”
The company has already completed multiple commercial deployments on the technology, helping organisations simplify their security architecture while enabling secure, reliable access for users regardless of location, Levy added.
“As organisations continue to move towards hybrid work and cloud-first strategies, the need to converge networking and security into a single, cloud-delivered service has become increasingly important,” he said.
“Fortinet’s SASE enables this by combining secure connectivity with advanced security services, reducing complexity while improving visibility and control.”
