HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) – In a digital world where children are often just a click away from potential danger, The Crown Bearer Project is stepping in to give parents the tools they need to protect their families.
It is hosting an upcoming Child Safety Awareness Training designed to help parents and guardians recognize critical warning signs before it’s too late.
Organizers emphasize that modern risks extend far beyond physical surroundings, with online predators, cyberbullying, and hidden digital threats increasingly targeting youth.
LaQuita Russell with the Crown Bearer Project stopped by 48 News to discuss the initiative, highlighting the importance of proactive communication between parents and children, setting digital boundaries, and identifying behavioral red flags early on.
Child Safety Awareness Training is September 27 at the Florence Public Library from 2-5pm.
The Crowned in Confidence gun safety course is October 17 from 12-3pm at the Cypress Creek Indoor Range.
