ROUND ROCK, Texas (KWTX) – Williamson County Sheriff’s deputies uncovered a dark web drug operation in Round Rock following an overdose death investigation.
The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office Organized Crime Unit executed a search warrant in the 700 block of David Curry Dr. in Round Rock on February 25, 2026.
Authorities say this was part of an ongoing investigation into a recent overdose death that occurred on February 4, 2026, of a 77-year-old female.
This investigation stems from an alleged non-fentanyl-related overdose death.
During the investigation, detectives found information indicating that illegal narcotics were obtained through dark web marketplaces using Cryptocurrencies.
“The dark web is a highly sophisticated and encrypted portion of the internet designed to provide anonymity to its users. While it has legitimate privacy-related uses, it is also frequently exploited by criminal organizations to facilitate the anonymous sale and distribution of illegal narcotics and other contraband,” the sheriff’s office said.
“Cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin are commonly used in these transactions because they allow for decentralized, peer-to-peer payments that can be conducted without traditional banking oversight, making financial trails more difficult to trace without advanced investigative techniques.”
Detectives served the search warrant and the following items were seized from the location (alleged weights):
- 8.4g liquid LSD
- 161 dose units LSD tabs
- 26.1g shrooms
- 5.1g fentanyl
- 6.6g testosterone
- .7g THC wax
- 8.9g Xanax (36.5 pills)
- 140.1g Methamphetamine (both crystal meth and 310 meth pills)
- 2.3g marijuana
- 1.2 g ketamine
- Sig handgun w/mag and ammo
- Scales
- Baggies
In addition, over 20 cell phones were seized, numerous hard drives, SD cards, thumb drives, laptops, hacking devices, USB drives and other electronics, the sheriff’s office said.
Jeannot Robinson was arrested and is currently in the Williamson County Jail on a $100,000.00 bond.
This is an ongoing investigation.
