MIFFLIN COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — Attorney General Dave Sunday announced that a Mifflin County man will spend life in prison after pleading guilty to having more than 450 files of child sexual abuse material (CSAM), marking his third conviction.
Zachary Keiser, 36, of McVeytown, was previously convicted of sexually assaulting children in 2009 and 2013 and served prison for both sets of crimes, according to a news release.
He pleaded guilty Tuesday to a felony count of possessing CSAM after the files were found in his home in September 2025, Sunday’s office announced.
“The third-strike sentencing structure is in place in Pennsylvania to protect communities from repeat offenders like Zachary Keiser,” Sunday said. “Prior convictions and registration requirements have not changed the behavior of this proven child predator, so society—children specifically—must be protected.”
According to his plea agreement, Keiser will spend life in prison without parole.
He will be formally sentenced on Oct. 22.
