CHANTILLY, Va.—Pavion has acquired Communication Company, a technology solutions provider serving the Midwest, in a move designed to expand the systems integrator’s regional footprint and strengthen its capabilities in fire, life safety, security and critical communications.
Founded in 1976, Communication Company has spent nearly five decades providing system design, installation and service for healthcare, education and commercial customers.

Communication Company’s addition enhances Pavion’s presence in the Midwest while increasing delivery capacity and service capabilities for customers in the region. The acquired company will continue operating with its existing local team and customer relationships while gaining access to Pavion’s broader portfolio of fire, life safety, security, critical communications, audiovisual and integrated technology solutions.
The acquisition also strengthens Pavion’s healthcare expertise. Communication Company has extensive experience supporting hospitals and healthcare systems, complementing Pavion’s existing critical communications, nurse call and real-time location systems (RTLS) offerings.
