The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office is advising residents about a declared sexual predator currently reported as living in a transient location near Lake Worth Beach.
According to authorities, Christopher Lee Brunson, born May 15, 1976, has registered as a transient sexual predator whose reported location is near 6th Avenue and Dixie Highway in Palm Beach County.
The public notification was issued in accordance with Florida Statute Chapter 775, which requires law enforcement agencies to inform the community when individuals designated as sexual predators establish residence in an area.
Records from the Florida Department of Law Enforcement indicate Brunson is classified as a sexual predator under Florida law and is under supervision by the Florida Department of Corrections.
Authorities say Brunson is described as 6 feet 3 inches tall, weighing approximately 172 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes.
According to state records, Brunson was previously convicted in Palm Beach County of lewd or lascivious molestation involving a victim under the age of 12, among other offenses. Investigators also noted additional convictions related to failing to properly report his status as a transient sexual predator.
Officials emphasized that the notification is intended to inform the public and promote community awareness. Law enforcement stressed that individuals listed on the registry have served sentences imposed by the courts but remain subject to strict registration requirements.
Residents are encouraged to remain vigilant and report suspicious activity to local law enforcement.
