Sessions is scheduled to meet with law enforcement and school officials from across Central Texas to discuss solutions for improving safety in schools.
WACO, Texas — United States Congressman Pete Sessions is hosting a coordinated school safety meeting on July 25, meeting with law enforcement officials and school district leaders from across Central Texas.
Sessions will reportedly meet with law enforcement representatives from McLennan, Limestone, Falls, Milam, Freestone, Bosque and Hill Counties, along with county judges and school officials from districts such as China Spring ISD, Lorena ISD and Bosqueville ISD.
The participants of the meeting will reportedly discuss “solutions for improving safety for students and educators.” The meeting will be held at the Texas State Technical College Auditorium Lobby in Waco.
After the meeting, Sessions and some other attendees will address members of the media in a press conference, according to a release from Sessions’ office.
Sessions is a United States Representative who represents the Seventeenth Congressional District of Texas.
