Prince Harry is currently on stage in London at a conference about the legacy of the Invictus Games he founded in 2014.

There was no outward sign of disappointment on his face as he stood up to speak to the room of delegates in St James Square.

He spoke about his love for the Invictus movement for wounded, injured and sick military personnel. However, he did not mention the High Court libel case, which he had dramatically lost moments before.

His team had been hoping for at least one or two wins in the cases the Duke of Sussex had brought before the court, claiming that stories had been obtained by unlawful information gathering.

In the end, the judge, Mr Justice Nicklin, dismissed all the claims made against the Daily Mail publisher by all six claimants.

Having won his previous two cases against the publishers of the Sun and News of the World, and the publishers of the Mirror titles, it will be a huge personal blow to the Prince.

The decision from the High Court came on the first day of Harry’s five-day visit to the UK, which had already suffered a rocky start with public arguments over his accommodation at Buckingham Palace and the lack of publicly funded security for him and his family when in the country.
