United Way of Door County and the Women’s Fund of Door County are coordinating a babysitter training Aug. 15, 8:30 am – 4 pm, at the Sturgeon Bay Moravian Church, 323 S. 5th Ave. It’s intended for anyone older than 11.
American Red Cross trainers will teach babysitters how to care for infants and toddlers, respond to emergencies, ensure child safety, provide age-appropriate activities, respond to a variety of behaviors and start a babysitting business.
The cost of $20 includes lunch. Scholarships are available; inquire when registering. Space is limited, so register by contacting Molly Gary at [email protected] or 920.421.3149.
