A 61-year old man with host of charges relating to sexual violence against adolescents and pre-pubescent girls remained employed at a B.C. post-secondary school for years, despite being deemed a high-risk to reoffend.
John Walter Sam has convictions that date back as far as 1982, including a 2002 charge where he pleaded guilty to touching a person under 14 for a sexual purpose who was 10 years old at the time.
