FAIRMONT — The City of Fairmont will look at other options once its contract with Flock Safety expires.
“We’ve already pressed hold on expansion of anything further,” City Manager Travis Blosser said on Tuesday after the regular City Council meeting. “We already have an agreement in place, so that agreement has to go through its length of time. But we’re looking at alternatives as to what we utilize. The problem becomes, anyone who thinks there’s not going to be a security surveillance camera within a municipal park system, given we’re investing millions of dollars in these facilities, is kidding themselves.”
