Family Zone Explains Roblox Parental Controls
Interactive tutorials cover tools available to adults with linked accounts. These include setting screen-time limits, choosing who their child can connect with, managing spending, and determining which games they can access. Completing tutorials can also unlock exclusive avatar items, alongside access to age-appropriate experiences.
Future modules will address bullying, scam prevention, and strategies for identifying and avoiding predatory behavior. Roblox is developing additional content with global safety experts and organizations.
The company is also working with mental health nonprofit Koko, Playerthree, and researchers at Northwestern University’s Lab for Scalable Mental Health. Together, they are developing a game designed to help children and teenagers build resilience when facing bullying.
