A day after AI-generated images of Rukmini Vasanth had gone viral on social media, triggering curiosity, debate and speculation among users, the actor has now shared a statement calling it “deeply irresponsible and a serious violation of privacy.”
Taking to her Instagram stories, she confirmed that the images are “entirely fake and fabricated” while warning about initiating legal and cybercrime action action against those involved in creation and circulation of such manipulated content.
“We are taking this matter seriously and initiating the necessary legal and cybercrime action against those involved in creating and spreading these images. Requesting everyone to refrain from sharing or engaging with such content,” she wrote.
