SANTA FE, N.M. (KRQE) – Four men were arrested in a Santa Fe Police Department operation that targeted alleged online child sexual predators.

The police department’s Special Victims Unit launched an online chat operation, which involved detectives using undercover accounts on multiple websites and internet-based communication applications, to talk directly with alleged offenders.
Police were then able to identify them and later apprehend individuals who reportedly attempted to commit sexual crimes against individuals whom they believed to be children, according to the police department.
As a result of the operation, the following individuals were taken into custody:

Eduardo Gerardo Ramirez, 59 years old, of Santa Fe, was arrested for Child Solicitation by Electronic Device (Meets with Child), and Resisting, Evading, or Obstructing an Officer.

Harold Lee Adams, 55 years old, of Lubbock, Texas, was arrested for Child Solicitation by Electronic Communication Device, and Tampering with Evidence.

Tomas Tolcha Cacjo, 29 years old, of Santa Fe, was arrested for Sexual Exploitation of Children by Prostitution, Child Solicitation by Electronic Communication Device (Meets with child), and Resisting, Evading, or Obstructing an Officer.

Nagaraju Balkam, 26 years old, of Santa Fe, was arrested for Sexual Exploitation of Children by Prostitution and Child Solicitation by Electronic Communication Device (Meets with Child).
SFPD said three additional investigations are expected to result in criminal charges against alleged suspects.
