GREENCASTLE- Pennsylvania State Representative Chad Reichard says that four school districts and entities in the 90th Legislative District across southern Franklin County are receiving a total of more than $775,000 for upgrades to security at their buildings.

The $775,429 comes from the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency’s School Safety and Security Committee and can be used for a number of school and public safety projects.

“I’m pleased to see our districts being proactive in promoting safety for children who attend our schools,” Reichard said. “This funding will assist districts with improving security for students so that they can learn in safe environments.”

  • Franklin County Career and Technology Center: $70,000.
  • Greencastle-Antrim School District: $224,239.
