The signs say ‘Slow Down’ – and for good reason. Class is back in session, and that means school drop off zones are about to get a whole lot busier. So, you might want to factor that into your morning commute, and if you’re just passing through, be sure to pack your patience and understanding. “School’s starting, it’s gonna take time for them to get their routines down so just be patient, slow down enjoy the morning, and make it a great day,” said Stephen Combs, Public Information Officer for Bluffton Township Fire District. The signs will be up for about a week near most schools in the area. Remember to always stay vigilant, kids aren’t always being dropped off via bus or car, but could be walking or biking. It it’s dark out, they may not be visible, so be sure to slow down.
