WINTER HAVEN, Fla. (WKRC) — A man who once played Mickey Mouse at Disney World was one of hundreds of people arrested in a countywide child predator sting operation in Florida last week.On Friday, Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd hosted a press conference announcing the arrests that were part of the county’s seven-day “Polk Around and Find Out II” sting operation. Among the 281 people arrested in the operation, the sheriff said 13 worked for Disney, including 25-year-old Collin Klaco, reports WFLA. The sheriff said Klaco had been communicating online with an undercover detective who was posing as a legal guardian of a 13-year-old boy. Klaco reportedly told the detective that he wanted to have a sexual encounter with the boy and that he wanted to meet in a public family restroom to “do something.” Klaco also allegedly told the detective he used to work at Disney. While he said he no longer worked at Disney, Judd said, “He was very proud to tell us that he at one time was a Mickey Mouse character.””He was a former Disney Mickey Mouse character, okay? He had the high, squeaky voice too, by the way,” Judd said during the press conference. “He may be the sickest, nastiest person we’ve ever arrested.”When Klaco showed up at the location, detectives said they found wipes and diapers in his bag, including diapers that were Disney-branded.”He was into diapers,” Judd said. “You know, diapers, and he had two backpacks full of diapers. He wanted to wear diapers. He wanted to put diapers on the children, and he wanted to do all kinds of nasty stuff. None of which we can talk about.”Klaco is charged with traveling to meet a minor, use of a computer to solicit a guardian, use of a two-way communication device to commit a felony and attempted lewd/lascivious battery on a minor.
