SK Broadband said on Monday it is launching its “Sajangnim Ansim” service, offering triple-layer security covering prevention, diagnosis and checks, from blocking harmful sites on PCs and smart devices to virus treatment and remote and on-site inspections.

The service includes blocking access to harmful websites and malicious code on PCs and smart devices, virus scanning and treatment, remote and on-site inspections in the event of disruptions, and blocking access linked to smishing, hacking, phishing and quishing.

If a customer cancels within the contract period due to business closure, the internet discount payback can be waived upon submission of a certificate of business closure. The aim is to ease the management burden for small business owners as store operating risks increase amid an economic slowdown and a rising closure rate.

The monthly fee is 3,300 won. It costs 38,500 won a month when used with “Deundun Gigalight” and 40,700 won a month when used with “Deundun Gigalight Share,” which supports up to 10 PCs and laptops simultaneously.

When used with “Deundun Internet,” launched in July last year, customers can also receive compensation for financial fraud losses of up to 3 million won once a year and compensation for repair costs for in-store devices such as POS and card terminals of up to 500,000 won once a year.

Kwon Jung-hoon (권정훈), head of SOHO and Value at SK Broadband, said he hopes Deundun Internet, Share Internet and the newly launched Sajangnim Ansim service will help reduce small business owners’ burden of running their stores. He said the company will continue to introduce related products by paying attention to their needs and difficulties.
